Our Training Sessions – Off Season – Indoor
Our club offers some great off-season training opportunities that take place in the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud facility at the University de Moncton.
Spin – Join coach Roberto Piccinin. Roberto will lead you to your best off season bike shape. He may work you hard, but you know you want it.
Swim – Join coach Ricky Stiles for some great workout sessions as well as stroke improvement. Get strong so you can train on your own and have some great preparation for your next triathlon season.
Training Session FAQs
Do I need to pay to enter the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud facility?
There is no extra charge at CEPS, just show your membership card and tell the receptionist why you’re there.
Can I reserve a bike for the spin sessions?
The spin bikes are first-come, first served. No reservations required. Approximately 20 bikes available.
Do I need bike shoes for the spin bikes?
Sneakers or clip shoes can be worn (SHIMANO SPD)
What else do I need to bring to spin?
Bring your own water bottle but there is also fountain near by.
Many members also bring a hand towel for wiping sweat.
Where can I park at CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud facility?
Most lots are paid by the hour. See map for details
- Paid Parking – You will likely get a ticket if you park in these lots without paying (P5, P6, P7, P8, etc.)
- 2 hour free parking lot (P9)
Where do I enter the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud facility?
Enter through the main entrance but you are permitted to leave via the side doors closer to the parking lot.
Who will be leading the spin and swim sessions?
Spin class leader will be Roberto Piccinin and Wednesday swims will be lead by Ricky Stiles.
